3A. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR – EU/EEA Users)
This section applies to users located in the European Union or European Economic Area.
OmazzkStoria is established in Italy. Therefore, Article 27 GDPR regarding the designation of an EU representative does not apply.
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the legal bases for processing personal data are:
a) Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing of data necessary to provide the requested functionality of the Applications, including account creation and management, purchase processing, and subscription management.
b) Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Processing of technical information, diagnostic data, crash logs, and usage data for the purpose of improving application performance, ensuring security, and preventing fraud and abuse.
c) Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Processing of advertising identifiers and location data for the purpose of displaying personalized advertising. Consent is collected through a Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated into the Applications at first launch. Users may withdraw consent at any time.
d) Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Processing necessary to comply with applicable legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
4. Advertising
The Applications may use Google AdMob and other advertising services provided by Google or authorized partners. These services may collect and process information such as:
- Advertising identifiers
- Device information
- Usage data
- Information required to deliver and measure advertisements
For users in the European Union and European Economic Area, personalized advertising is displayed only after obtaining explicit consent through an integrated Consent Management Platform (CMP) compliant with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF).
Users can modify advertising consent preferences at any time through the privacy settings available within the Applications, where applicable.
Users who subscribe to premium plans may be eligible to remove advertising according to the terms described within the Applications.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
The Applications may offer one-time purchases, monthly subscriptions, and annual subscriptions. Transactions are processed through Google Play Billing. Google may collect and process information necessary to manage purchases in accordance with its own policies.

For transfers from the European Union or European Economic Area to third countries, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission where applicable.
8. Data Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide requested services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security and integrity. Account information may be retained for up to 24 months after account closure unless a longer retention period is required by law. After the retention period expires, information may be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect user information. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require access to perform their duties. Data is transmitted using secure and encrypted connections where applicable. However, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
10. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
The Applications do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users, except where required for fraud prevention, security, or advertising delivery in accordance with applicable law.
EU/EEA users have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects, pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR, where applicable.
